On this date Mayor Jones signed a deal to sell the patrol wagon horses that had been used for several years. The buyer was Johnson Transfer and Mayor Jones observed that the horses were going to a good home with a warm barn much like the one they had lived in with the police. The Pantagraph also noted that any municipality looking for a police patrol wagon should look at Bloomington's wagon which was for sale. (Free advertising!)
