Theresa Keppler, Boone County

Theresa Keppler (1885 - 1958) first appears in the record as a dressmaker-lodger in the home of Seymour and Ruth Cox of Belvidere, Boone County, Illinois. Theresa also had the company of Jennie Beckington, who was a teacher at the high school and a lodger with the Coxes as well.

Theresa married in 1906 to Thomas Bright. Thomas worked as a moulder in a sewing machine factory in Belvidere. They had three sons, Robert, Clifton and Damon. Damon died at age 23. Theresa's parents were from Germany and her father's name was John. Theresa died in 1958 and her husband died in 1956.
