Thomas Morrison, Champaign County

Thomas Morrison was placed Champaign County with the Joe Harley family in Homer, Illinois in 1898. Morrison would stay in Homer the remainder of his life. He married Nellie McLaren and had six children with her: Mary , Gladys E, William H, Betty Jane, James, and Marjorie. He worked as a laborer with the electric company and the city park.

Although the letter printed in the annual report was from a guardian named Yeazel, it was Joe Harley who was remembered as his guardian in his obituary.

Thomas Morrison died in 1961, one year after the death of his wife. His sons were William and James and his daughters were Mrs. Eugene Danner, Mrs. Umbarger, Mrs. Lou Maurer, Mrs. Leslie Wolf and Mrs. Francis Sigmon.
